Privacy Policy

Last Updated:

At Stealth Writer (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website stealth-writer.com and use our AI text humanization services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as data collected automatically when you use our services.

A. Personal Data

When you register for an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact support, we may collect:

  • Name and email address.
  • Billing information (processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe/PayPal; we do not store full credit card numbers).
  • Account login credentials (encrypted).

B. Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you access the Service, such as:

  • IP address and browser type.
  • Operating system and device information.
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referral sources.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service (including processing text requests).
  • To manage your account and subscription.
  • To improve our AI algorithms (only aggregated, non-personal data).
  • To communicate with you regarding updates, security alerts, and support.
  • To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the Service.

3. AI Processing & Data Retention (Critical)

Privacy Guarantee for Input Text

Your trust is paramount. Unlike other AI tools, Stealth Writer does NOT use your submitted text to train public AI models. The content you input for humanization is processed in a secure, isolated environment.

Input Data: Text you submit for rewriting is processed temporarily. Once the “humanized” output is generated and delivered to your browser, the raw input data is retained only for a short period (up to 30 days) for troubleshooting and history features, after which it is automatically deleted, unless you explicitly save it to your project library.

Ghost Mode: Users on our Enterprise or “Ghost Mode” plans benefit from Zero-Retention Processing, where data is deleted immediately after the session ends.

4. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners and advertisers.

We may disclose your information only in the following situations:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our website (e.g., hosting, payment processing, email delivery), strictly under confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance: If required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

5. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. These include SSL encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Your Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights, including:

  • The right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you.
  • The right of rectification.
  • The right to object.
  • The right of restriction.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal data we have collected, as well as the right to request deletion of their data.
